The Inaugural Maclean’s Bridge at Lakeside Sports and Classic Car Auction
To be Conducted by Pickles Auction
|
This is early advice for interested enthusiasts.
|
As part of the 2011 Maclean’s Bridge at Lakeside (15 May 2011), there will be an opportunity for owners of sports and classic cars to benefit from a specialised auction. If an enthusiast has a car he or she is thinking of selling, or there’s a car that has been gathering dust and could gain a new life with a new owner, this could be the right time and place. There will be thousands of car enthusiasts at Lakeside for the day.
The auction will be independently promoted and conducted by Pickles Auctions who have substantial experience in car auctions. Their promotion will ensure that interested buyers are aware of the cars for sale in advance. It is reasonable to assume that their promotion will have a wider reach than a club magazine.
As far as we are aware, this is the only auction planned for 2011 in Brisbane that is targeted to serve the sports and classic car community.
The auction will be conducted at the Lakeside Park after the presentation of awards to display cars at Maclean’s Bridge at Lakeside.
The auctioneer will soon be looking for:
-
Sports cars – current and collectibles
-
Classic Tourers
-
Heritage vehicles – antique, veteran, vintage and classics
-
Historic Racing Cars – road, track, rally
-
Historic Motor Cycles
-
Automobilia – collectibles
-
Project Cars.
The auction will also include Personalised Plates (Qld) of relevance to classic vehicles (these lots on behalf of PPQ - Personalised Plates Queensland).
