Beautiful cars and their owners deserve a beautiful day. The physical setting at Lakeside, the history of Lakeside (50 years old in 2011), the history of the Maclean’s Bridge display (the 36th annual event in 2011), and the other activities making up Maclean’s Bridge at Lakeside all conspire to make this the right place and time for a beautiful day and a successful Concours.
This is the inaugural Concours d’Elegance at Maclean’s Bridge at Lakeside 2011, and the TSOAQ, Lakeside Park, and Shannons Insurance (the sponsor) will all be doing their upmost to make it a successful day.
We invite truly exceptional cars to be entered into the Maclean’s Bridge at Lakeside - Shannons’ Concours d’Elegance for 2011. The Concourse will be limited to 40 cars. All accepted entrants in the Concours will receive a Commemorative Certificate.
Ten finalists of the Concours d’Elegance will be escorted around the Lakeside Raceway in a Circuit d’Elegance. We believe this Circuit d’Elegance to be unique to Maclean’s Bridge at Lakeside. Each finalist will receive a trophy and an invitation to the VIP lunch at the Lakeside Centre.
The Winner of the Shannons’ Concours d’Elegance will be awarded a significant trophy and have their details entered on the Perpetual Trophy and the car will be named as The Most Elegant Vehicle 2011 at the Maclean’s Bridge at Lakeside Festival.
